SEO Project Management

My Love for Food

I love eating! I eat the food that I can eat (since I’m a vegetarian) with great Woman_Eating_Clean_Breakfastgusto. When I’m hungry, I reach out for that extra pie and sometimes, even when I’m not hungry and someone offers me food, I bite! In our world today, due to the bombardment of ads from all corners, we are made to think different from what is really right. Take for example the fact that I will eat fudge that I’ve just seen on TV even when I’m not hungry, just because the ad made me think that I am.

You’re probably wondering why you’re reading this in a site about SEO. While it may not seem like it has nothing to do with it, think again! Here’s the parallel of that concept to SEO: (believe it or not ) SEO is not just about putting your home page on the top result; it’s about making sure that all the pages are optimized because those pages all provide traffic. It’s not just about making sure you’re not hungry anymore, it’s also about making sure you savored everything. Just because you have a new article added per minute  does not mean that you will get more traffic. Eating more than enough won’t help you, it would just mean putting on extra, unwanted pounds. Whilst putting in articles that have substance even just once a day will do greater things. I just can’t emphasize enough the value of writing and submitting articles. Here are some of my tips on this very important tool for SEO:

1. Religiously put in new articles
. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure it out. The regularity depends on you of course. Put in meaty articles every other day, everyday or more than that if you can. Just make sure its original (no plagiarism please! Google doesn’t like it and you don’t want legal headaches).
2. Hire someone else if you can’t do it. Not all site owners are writers. Not all site owners are writers. Therefore, you can be sure that you will be able to find someone out there who can write for you. Just make the terms clear enough and you’re on the roll.
3. Put substance. Do not generalize. Try to be as direct, clear and particular as you can in writing your articles. The composition of your article matters a lot.
4. Make sure it also looks nice, of course. Simply put, they will not read you site if its not readable. Check if the grammar, spelling and format is in place.
I’ll talk about other factors the next time. This is about it for now. Just remember that articles generate traffic. Therefore start submitting those meaty articles! Speaking of meat, I miss those cinnamon buns…
