Update, Revise, Rewrite!

If yoconfused1u have a super duper useful product with a fair price and with a great packaging, will you be able to sell it successfully? The answer would be “Yes” for most of course. But as marketers know, if that product has 10 competitors in the market, with about the same price and quality and add in an aggressive marketing strategy, the answer would be the opposite.

That’s the same with websites of course. Unless you have a super duper newly minted ultra useful invention you’ll be sure to be NOT number one in Google. And as we all know in this age of rapid internet advancement, it seems that every possible name  is out in the market. Then what do I do, you ask. Wikipedia says it plainly “Optimizing a website primarily involves editing its content and HTML and associated coding to both increase its relevance to specific keywords and to remove barriers to the indexing activities of search engines.” If you still can’t get it, one of the major ways to increase your presence in the web is to make sure your website content is relevant and closely associated to the keywords that are usually attached to your product/service/or whatever you are trying to promote. Relevance would mean closer to the top or actually being in the TOP post in the search engine. Constant revision of the content to update and/or posting something new regularly also counts. Actually doing the writing yourself is also a plus.

What we’re suggesting here is you have to do something about your website. And you have to do it NOW.  Don’t expect that Google will suddenly think of your website as its lost love and put you on the top. After all you wouldn’t want to be stuck on the last page right?
